Conference & Tea Party
The Wonderfully Made Conference and Tea Party is a “by invitation only” event designed especially for girls in middle and high school. In today’s society girls are given so many messages about who and what they should be, from the way they look to how they should be treated by others. Unfortunately, many of these messages do not encourage our girls to embrace and celebrate how special and valuable they already are. This event was created to help young girls find their value and worth in the person God created them to be.
Psalm 139:14- I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

ABOUT THE EVENT AND PROGRAM
Ten young ladies and there mother or female caregiver are selected and invited to participate in the ‘for girls only’ Wonderfully Made Conference and Tea Party.
In this one day conference, these young ladies and there mother/female caregiver will begin their day hearing an inspired word from one of God’s chosen, followed by fun, interactive learning sessions and a tea party. At the closing assembly, an adult mentor will be assigned to each pair to help lead them through their year-long journey of developing and nurturing relationships with God, themselves, and others.
The conference is a springboard to establishing relationships through mentoring. In today’s world it is important that our girls have women in their lives that promote open communication, encourage personal and spiritual growth, and support self-sufficiency. Through the mentoring process, these young women will come to realize just how extraordinary and wonderfully made they are.
Requirements to become one of the chosen for this special event:

“As an author of Christian teen fiction and the mother of two teen girls, I am intimately familiar with the challenges young girls face today. With this in mind, I was proud to be the keynote speaker at Christlike Fellowship’s 2012 Wonderfully Made Conference and Tea Party. At this event I was given the opportunity to speak to a group of teens and their moms. This event was the start of a year-long girl’s mentor program that focuses on helping young girls embrace and celebrate how wonderfully made they truly are.”
